Want to raise products for underprivileged elderly and families in the South East District? In the month of July, step-up with 3M and selected NTUC Fairprice outlets through a fun consumer element to spice up everyday grocery shopping.

For the upcoming 5th edition of the 3M Step Up Challenge @ South East, global science company 3M Singapore is partnering with NTUC FairPrice for the second year running to have aerobic steppers at selected outlets to engage shoppers to step-up while they shop. This will take place over three weekends in the month of July 2017.

In addition, from July 1 to July 31, 2017, 5% of the sales proceeds for every 3M product purchased at NTUC FairPrice outlets will contribute towards raising essential household items for needy elderly and families in the South East District.

The range of 3M products that shoppers can buy include Scotch-Brite® sponges, Scotch- BriteTM floorcare range, CommandTM hanging solutions, ScotchTM Kitchen Scissors, and other 3M consumer products found in NTUC FairPrice.

Spicing Up the Challenge

To further energize this year’s edition of the 3M Step-Up Challenge @ South East, there are three unique challenges participants can take part in at the NTUC FairPrice outlets. They include:

  1. 2x your Steps: Double up the step count made by purchasing any 3M product in the same day.

    2. ⇥

  2. Fastest Stepper Competition: Clock in the highest number of steps among three participants within one minute. Winner receives a 3M goodie bags.

    3. ⇥

  3. Top 10 Steppers of the Week: The Top 10 participants with highest number of contributed steps at each roadshow will be rewarded with 3M goodie bags, their names will also be posted onto 3M Singapore’s Facebook page, which has over four million followers.

About 3M Step-Up Challenge @ South East 2017

Scheduled to take place from July 6 to August 28, 2017, the 3M Step-Up Challenge @ South East 2017 is targeting to accumulate a total of 10 million steps to benefit 4,000 needy elderly and families. There are three ways to accumulate vertical mileage – stepping up, jumping on trampolines, and rock climbing.
