SINGAPORE 16 April 2018, ­ BURG Kitchen, part of the enclave of top-rate Japanese restaurants at Eat At Seven. The concept is helmed by Chef Kataoka, who has created juicy hamburgs using quality Australian beef.

Each 200g of patty consists of a blend of minced beef with wagyu fats, which is then marinated with salt, pepper, miso, sautéed onions, breadcrumbs and milk. It is then pan-fried and slow-cooked in the oven, a process that seals in the juices and goodness. Go with either the Original version (S$18++), or the Cheese Burg (S$19.80++), which is topped with Colby and cheddar cheese torched for a smoky tinge and gooey consistency.

Other than the hamburgs, there are also other main courses to enjoy at the restaurant. Go with the Penne Meat Sauce Gratin (S$14.50++), with minced beef soused in meat sauce and the melted stringy cheese promising an explosion of flavours!
