Deliveroo uncovers Singapore’s top national dishes in time for National Day

Ever wondered what Singaporeans crave for when it comes to ordering in to commemorate Singapore’s National Day? Ahead of the nation’s upcoming 56th birthday, Singapore’s most loved food delivery service, Deliveroo, has dug into data from last year’s stay home National Day celebrations to answer the age-old question: “What is Singapore’s national dish?”.
Top dishes loved by Singaporeans include the quintessential chilli crab, fried chicken, nasi ayam penyet and wonton noodles. Based on last year’s popular choices, the food delivery platform has compiled a selection of shiok National Day deals to order in for feasting with family and friends. From laksa pizzas by Pepperoni Pizzeria to exclusive National Day cakes by Cedele, which come in uniquely local flavours chendol and gula melaka, there is something for everyone! Deliveroo fans also get to be one of the first to try out SaladStop!’s brand new salad bowl, Home Grown, as Deliveroo will be the first delivery platform to deliver it from 2 – 8 August.
This National Day, consumers can also look forward to:
- S$1 delivery fee for all grocery orders throughout the month of August as well as for orders from close to 300 participating restaurants from now till 15 August.
- Free delivery for close to 1,500 small and medium-sized businesses from 2 August.
