This Father’s Day, thank your father for all his sacrifices with Joy Luck Teahouse’s Perfect Gift of Joy! This specially curated box of six egg tarts comes with two new flavours: Ugly Coconut and Pandan Egg Tart.
It may be ugly, but the Ugly Coconut Egg Tart sure is yummy — just like our fathers who may have a hardy exterior but a soft side. It sees shredded coconut infused with fragrant gula melaka, which is then encased in a smooth egg custard. The tart is not cloyingly sweet and is enjoyable even for dads who do not have a sweet tooth. Coming with a beautiful green hue thanks to the natural pandan extract, the Pandan Egg Tart is sweetly perfumed with the signature scent of the plant and is a unique offering that stands out in the sea of yellow egg tarts.
