In celebration of Mid-Autumn Festival, O’My Kampong, a halal dining café located at Sengkang Riverside Park opened under Old Chang Kee Group, will be launching reunion pumpkin yam rice balls served with different servings of Kampong Chicken to suit different pax of diners. They will also be available in our special Kids Set Meal too e.g. kids chicken chop/fish cutlet with 2 mini pumpkin yam rice balls and garden vegetables and 1 iced/hot milo and a free Kampong Toy!
Our reunion pumpkin yam rice balls are made from a combination of fragrant and glutinous rice, yam, pumpkin, dried mushrooms and dried prawns. It is believed that in the Chinese olden days, eating pumpkin and yam during Mid-Autumn Festival brings one good health and good luck! Since then, it has been a Chinese tradition to eat pumpkin and yam related dishes during Mid-Autumn Festival and therefore, we have introduced our new reunion pumpkin yam rice balls at O’My Kampong Café which will be available from 17 Sep to 16 Oct 2020.
